JOB OPENINGS
CONVEYOR APPLICATIONS ENGINEER
Position Overview -
Applications Engineers provide technical support to both sales and engineering teams. In support of sales they evaluate new sales opportunities, specify product to meet customer requirements, and provide cost estimates thereof. After the sale, Applications Engineers support Design Engineers and Electrical Engineers in the development, testing, and installation of finished products.
Responsibilities/Duties -
- Engage customers and sellers as required pre sale to help grow sales, and post sale to insure customer satisfaction and retention.
- Review requests for quotations (RFQ) and specify product to meet customer’s applications.
- Author technical documentation, including design details and sequence of operation, which completely describes the proposed product(s) and scope of work.
- Develop cost estimates for the proposed product(s).
- Create proposal drawings
- Communicate the scope of work and details of new orders to assigned Design Engineer(s).
- Create or review drawings and other engineering deliverables as required to produce products
- Coordinate integration of electrical controls into products
- Support installation and start-up of company products as required
- Evaluate fitness-for-purpose of finished product for suitability to customer requirements
- Assume project management role(s) as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Knowledge of the application and design of one or more company product lines
- Knowledge of, and ability to perform fundamental engineering calculations
- Proficient in AutoCad or SolidWorks.
- Basic knowledge of electrical controls and their integration into company products

- Ability to team with sales, engineering and production personnel to meet customers’ needs.
Education and/or Experience -
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering field and (10+) years relative experience
DESIGN ENGINEER
Position Overview -
Design Engineers develop or redesign new or existing company products. Individuals in this position work from order requirements or other specifications and arrive at final design details utilizing CAD software and engineering calculations as required. Design Engineers are capable of working independently and may be assigned responsibility for a customer order as a Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities/Duties -
- Design company products using SolidWorks or other engineering software
- Create engineering drawings for use in proposals and manufacturing
- Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturing
- Create owner’s manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as required
- Perform engineering computations for sizing equipment components
- Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing
- Provide field support of Company products as required
- Perform Lead Engineer role for assigned sales orders including customer interaction, vendor communication, and project management as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications -

ELECTRICAL ENGINEER
Position Overview -
Electrical Engineers develop or redesign electrical controls for new or existing company products. Individuals in this position work from order requirements or other specifications and arrive at final control circuitry and program logic utilizing software and engineering calculations as required. Electrical Engineers are capable of working independently and may be assigned responsibility for a customer order as a Lead Engineer.
Responsibilities/Duties -
- Design electrical controls/control systems for company products
- Write PLC, HMI, PC and other control programs using various software
- Create control schematics and control panel layout drawings using CAD software for use in customer proposals and manufacturing.
- Create bills of material and routings for use in cost estimates and manufacturing
- Create owner’s manuals, test procedures, and other engineering deliverables as required
- Perform electrical computations for sizing electrical components
- Provide technical support to shop personnel during manufacturing
- Provide field support of Company products as required
- Perform Lead Engineer role for assigned sales orders including customer interaction, vendor communication, and project management as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications -

- General working knowledge of PLC, HMI, and PC based control hardware and software.
- Ability to team with other engineering, sales and production personnel to meet customers’ needs.
