Gulf States Steel increases Capacity with Thermotech Furnaces1/1/00 -- The new Millennium is on us and Gulf States Steel is annealing with Lee Wilson Brand bell annealing furnaces built by Thermotech Industries, Inc. Gulf States Steel, Gadsden, Alabama, ordered two bell annealing furnaces from Thermotech. Within two months, one unit was already in start-up, with the second unit scheduled for mid January 2000. This order marks Thermotech's first large bell annealing order since acquiring the Lee Wilson brand product line.
